Parenting an introvert

 Intent

You shouldn’t expect your children to have the same disposition as you even if they do have 50 percent of your DNA. 

The most powerful and interesting thing you can do is accept your teenager for who they are. It's improperly making them feel like there is something wrong with them if they are quieter than most people.

Allowing them to have alone time is good, but too much of it can contribute to feelings of depression or low self-esteem. If they're in noisy places too they withdraw from people, that's what you need do as parent or sponsor

2. encourage them to invite their friends along.

 If they struggle with meeting new people, 

3.Find a club, group, or event that is centered around one of their interests. This way your introverted teen will feel like they have something in common with the other people around them.

Introvert tend to respond in a matter of fact way. This will happen especially when you have a thinking type of who's personal affairs meanspirited, and the way they respond one will assume being rude to or a smart talk in a way they try to be silent most times to get the right word for answers or approach.


Social situations

if you really want your introvert child support socialism therefore, you don’t have to push them into social situations.

1. The skills to handle social situations must be given to enable them harmonize it to their oriented self.

2. Or at most required pushing them high or low as the case may be.

3. Maybe it will do good if you help them by imparting your social wisdom to them. For example, if you see that they struggle to start conversations, give them advice on how to better speak to new people. 

Maybe you can tell them that complimenting what someone is wearing or asking them about their family, work or likes, has always worked for you.


Mental issues

You need to be on a look out, be vigilant about your introvert child,their quiet nature should not stop them from functioning on a daily basis. 

But if you notice that your teenager struggles to get by without being extremely sad or angry, that could be a sign of depression.
