Reflection

Meaning

Reflection means perceiving, thinking, doubting, believing, reasoning, knowing, and willing.

These are not themselves, however, instances of knowledge in the strict sense, but they provide the mind with the materials of knowledge.

Reflection is what you see in the mirror. Other things that bounce back at you and also reflections — light waves, sound waves, even your thoughts.

Reflection can also be a consequence of something: the way someone smiles at you  reflect how happy they are feeling about you. reflection also encourages a level of :

1. self-awareness and consciousness about practice.

2. It's enables one to identify areas for improvement and also areas where you are strong

3. It allows one to recognize what works with student and what doesn’t with them

4. It enables one to think deeply about children/students and their  reactions to your teaching.

Having known what's reflection let's dive into self reflection, paramount importance

Personally, I learn from experiences of the past, what it meant and usually activate my thoughts on them.
